Overview
Since 1971 Worldwide Transportation Services (WTS) has been a freight forwarding company specializing in the handling of export grain shipments. As an agent and/or middleman representing companies that deal in grain commodity shipments, WTS handles all paperwork and shipping documentation forms for the export of grain overseas.

 WTS is in constant communication via daily emails and phone calls with its clients, elevators, fumigation companies, vessel agents and independent laboratories at the outset of each shipment gathering all pertinent information. This data is eventually transcribed onto various shipping documents and presented to the discharge port, a bank or the receiver overseas in order to expedite immediate payment for its client. WTS takes tremendous pride in its ability to minimize errors, eliminate confusion and urgently address issues that would delay payment while maintaining its own high standards of integrity. This is the distinguishing mark of WTS and its unwavering guarantee to its customers.

Procedures & Operations
A family-owned business in New Orleans, WTS has filled the niche for its unique documentation services throughout the Gulf Region in Louisiana and Texas as well the East and West coasts. All personnel at WTS are experienced in handling every aspect of the business, from the gathering and preparation of paperwork to the delivery of all completed documentation to its final destination. Throughout the process WTS clients are kept informed of all necessary information relating to the ship’s arrival, times of all inspections including detailed documentation regarding loading, completion of loading and departure schedules.

Once a ship is in berth, WTS maintains constant daily communication with its client that will remain in effect until the final documentation process is complete. WTS will begin to retrieve all pertinent details after a vessel nomination is received and then begin the export documentation process. At this point preparation and completion of Commercial Invoices, Bills of Lading, Phytosanitary Certificates, Certificates of Origin (CAFTAS or NAFTAS to certain countries) and other necessary required certificates are finalized. WTS will also obtain Certificates from Fumigation Companies, Independent Laboratories as well as order Certificates from the U.S.D.A.  Once all paperwork is gathered and completed, WTS will send everything through a carrier service to the bank or overseas receiver.

 As grain export documentation specialists, WTS is always aware that any delay can affect payment and customer profit. For this reason, every member of the WTS team–Conrad and Linda Schwartz and their two daughters, Christine Schwartz and Sherry Schwartz–are fully engaged in the total documentation process and look forward to providing the same standards of excellence to all clients in the coming years.
