Woodlake Playground, which is located in North Kenner at 131 West Esplanade, serves an area of over 600 families in the northwest corner of Kenner, Louisiana. This is your park and we invite your entire family to enjoy the year-round sports activities that others have experienced since 1983.

Woodlake Playground is part of the Kenner Recreation system that encompasses 11 parks and 9 gyms. When it comes to sports, and in particular football, basketball, baseball, softball, cheerleading, volleyball and track, you’ll be part of a recreational system that is by far one of the best in the country. We’re proud of our accomplishments, coaching staffs and personnel and are not shy about our record, which includes over 60 city championships since 2000.

Your Woodlake Booster Club is operated by volunteers and is primarily funded from dues raised each year. Dues are a modest $50 per family and are used to provide the teams with coaches, uniforms and equipment for every sport. The Booster club oversees the equipment and concession stands. Since Woodlake Playground is a non-profit organization, all money we take in from tournaments, clinics, and sales goes directly back into the club.

Woodlake has a proud history. We offer boys and girls, from the ages of four thru sixteen, the opportunity to compete on several Playground sponsored teams in the competitive City of Kenner Recreation leagues. Qualified individuals are allowed to participate in All-Star programs in basketball, baseball, softball and cheerleading. Some of these activities are played in our fully furnished, modern indoor gym which is available to all Woodlake members.
