New Beginnings Construction/Edgewater Builders (hereafter referred to as NB/EB) is a locally owned general contracting company that services southeast Louisiana and Mississippi. Based in Slidell, LA, this group is licensed and insured for commercial and residential construction as well as electrical and mechanical work. With extensive knowledge and experience in virtually every type of commercial, residential and industrial project, the majority of its construction, however, remains Katrina related, as quality renovation is still urgently required throughout the Greater New Orleans area. Regardless of the nature of the project, however, NB/EB can take any house or commercial building from ground floor and bring it to completion with its own resources and personnel.

Where most contractors depend on subcontractors for much of their labor, NB/EB prefers to control the quality of its work with in-house experienced staff. By doing its own mechanical and electrical work, it not only avoids unnecessary downtime, but customers are guaranteed a tightly controlled, professionally constructed building from beginning to end. It is imperative that all assignments run smoothly and on time. Therefore, NB/EB will rely on its own skills throughout most phases of all projects to assure a quality product–and at a lower cost to the owner.
