Overview

Go Doc Credentialing is a New Orleans-based service company whose primary function is to meet the credentialing needs of physicians. This unique firm offers a 12 month subscription that will provide physicians all credentialing requirements for healthcare facilities, hospitals, surgery centers and insurance companies. While most of today’s credentialing companies only offer software programs for their clients, Go Doc deals directly with customers and will assemble, compose and file all pertinent credentialing information.

Unfortunately, credentialing is still one of those time-consuming chores that physicians often delay or relegate to untrained office personnel. Procrastination, however, may no longer be an option as legislation dealing directly with credentialing is being introduced and passed into law. For instance, effective June 20, 2006, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will mandate that physicians or practitioners participating in the Medicare program complete an enrollment form and submit specific information to CMS. The ruling also requires that all providers periodically update and certify the accuracy of their enrollment information in order to receive and maintain billing privileges in the Medicare program. These activities will be supported through the use of a revised CMS-855.

Aside from these enrollment issues, there are other obligations, such as insurance companies with whom physicians have a contractual arrangement, that require credentialing be completed and updated every 1-3 years. Because of these constant and heavy demands, Go Doc has developed a program that is simple and easy and one that WILL REMOVE the burden of credentialing responsibility from the physician.

Under our supervision, and after the initial paperwork is completed and in our hands, Go Doc will do the rest of the work for you. We’ll fill out your facility’s own form(s). We’ll complete the required insurance forms and attach all professional school degrees or certificates, IRS confirmation of Tax Identification Number (TIN), NPI notification, updated resumes, continuing medical education certificates and all state, medical and drug licenses. You, the physician, will be asked to fill out the necessary paperwork one time only, but after that all your credentialing becomes our responsibility. No form is ever overlooked and all certificates and licenses remain current and up-to-date. In other words, we do the work so your life can be made easier.
